Lauriol Plaza

After our long day of exploring, we needed some fuel and beverages in a bad way. After loving Robert and Sarah's first recommendation so much, we decided to hit up another one. Mexican fare and margarita pitchers at Lauriol Plaza.

Swirl margs
Oh man!

Enchiladas de Mariscos

Not the best picture, but Luke swears the Carne Asada Fajitas were the best he's ever had (and believe me when I say that he knows good steak) I got to try a piece and it was perfectly tender. And those unassuming black beans? Spicy green chili in those beans. Nom nom nom.

Can you believe how GARGANTUAN this place is? (3 enormous levels) I'm not kidding when I say it is the biggest restaurant I've ever seen.
And how cute is that dog? Must have been torture smelling so many fajita skillets!

Oh yeah, guess who else showed up for dinner?

More DC adventures and good eats coming soon (man, I'm behind!)

Mmmm, that food looks (and sounds) so good! Your pic sipping the margarita is too cute! And I love the one with the Obamas, of course! Thanks for sharing all your adventures - I love reading about your fun excursions! :)
