The week before Christmas, I hopped on the free Ikea ferry over to Red Hook, Brooklyn and walked to the Saipua studio to attend a wreath making class (after a delightful brunch by my lonesome). I sipped hot cider, met the wonderful Nicolette and Sarah (dynamic duo of The Little Flower School) and clipped and wired until my heart was content. Funny thing is, I went for a blue/gray theme and blue is my least favorite color. I just can't say no to thistle! The finished product is now proudly hanging in our bedroom and smells so pleasant.

As soon as I was done with my wreath, I ran back to the ferry, rushed home to drop off my wreath and jumped on the crosstown bus to the Upper West Side to meet up with this lovely lady and her family!
